Anne-Marie Duff has been an English actress, narrator and writer for over thirty years. Duff was a TV character on Trial & Retribution Amongst Women and Aristocrats in the late 1990s. In the following seasons, she was the role of Queen Elizabeth I on the television series The Virgin Queen (2006) and also the lead role in the series From Darkness in 2015. Duff appeared her role in Enigma (2001), The Magdalene Sisters The Magdalene Sisters Scandal (2007) French Film (2008) The Last Station, Nowhere Boy Before Go To Sleep (2014) and Suffragette (2005). The roles she played on the screen in Shameless the Virgin Queen Nowhere Boy and Suffragette garnered the BAFTA nominations for both the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress categories. In addition, she was awarded her the BAFTA Cymru Award for Best Actress due to her role in the television movie The History of Mr Polly.
